A kilowatt of power doesnt seem like much. I'm just dipping my feet into getting something like this, and according to Google the average house uses about 30 kilowatts per day. This might be good for camping, or RV'ing but it seems like something in the 3-5 kilowatt range would be better to have. Im also dont know enough about if they could be charging off of solar while using, and how much/many panels would i need.

Normally, a 200-watt solar panel (or 2x100-watt panel) is enough to fully charge it for 5 hours on a sunny day..

Expected more comments. Is this the chemistry that lends itself to functioning like an ups?

This one isn't lifepo4, but unless you're charging and discharging this every single day, it will be absolutely fine for most people. This is a really solid price. Love my Ecoflow products!

Yeah, it really depends on how much you're trying to support in an emergency. If it's the whole house, a different system would be required. Even a few of these would not be sufficient. For example, this would probably keep a typical refrigerator going for half a day max. I have a way smaller one, but I just have it power a modem and router.

1600w output power meets most American 110v appliances , it can cook for around 50 mins on 1200w induction stove or microwave. it meets basic need for outdoor life or house emergency
