Bs…not even close…show me a model Y with specs even close to the fisker extreme at 35k…I'll wait
Tesla funtional software alone more than makes up for any possible features this car has over a Tesla. In addition to the value of functionality Tesla has don't forget that those Fisker specs are software controlled and may not work properly to start with and according to all the reviews likely will only work for a short period of time.
I just pulled off all my $250 deposits back for Ocean and Pear before it's too late. Why buy this car when reputable Model Y is already at good $41-45k price point. Peace with Fisker and RIP Fisker. Not going to buy a brick tent for driveway. Good luck to the ones that bought this and good luck future support in 2-3 years.
Did you actually get your deposit back? I requested mine a week ago and they said they'd be in touch within a few days. But, crickets.

Model Y performance from new inventory are regularly $49k - $7.5k federal rebate = $41.5k and have a faster acceleration than the fisker extreme, better warranty, access to the Tesla super charger network, etc.
Edit: corrected prices above.
Also if the Fisker P+S lists the 62k MSRP then say good by to an additional. $3.5 EV rebate in MA which has a cut off at $55k. Most model Y perf are under that so can be $38 after fed and MA rebate
Model Y performance from new inventory are regularly $39k - $7.5k federal rebate = $31.5k and have a faster acceleration than the fisker extreme, better warranty, access to the Tesla super charger network, etc.
$7.5k tax credit to be correct for those paying lots of taxes
Im still very confused why the series hybrid vehicles are not taking over? the ones that have only electric drivetrain, with smaller batteries, and a small ICE engine kicking in to recharge battery? like Chevy Volt.
Hopefully we'll see plugin hybrids start to take over the market soon. A plugin that can get 40-50 on pure electric before the ICE kicks in just seems like the perfect vehicle for the American market. So far, Toyota is the leader but others will soon figure it out. I actually went with a regular hybrid for now.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but from all the news I see, this looks like a fire sale to just get rid of any existing inventory as the company is virtually on its last breath. May seem like a good deal, until you realize the new EV you just bought is fundamentally flawed, not going to be fixed, and if anything goes wrong, there is no support or parts. Someone said it's an expensive paperweight, and jokes aside, it will likely become one within 2 years of ownership, if you're lucky, and it will cost you even more to try to get rid of. Sad.
If I can really get 6 years out of it, it will be a no brainer😅

Having owned hybrids for over 10 years I can say hybrids and plug in hybrids have most the disadvantages of ICE vehicles, if not more due to the complexity of having both electric and ICE drive trains. Dealing with regular maintenance, blown head gaskets, brakes, shocks.
Having all Electric for over 5 years I've only had to buy tires, washer fluid and cabin air filters.

So much fear mongering and straight up lies and misinformation from people who I assume shorted the stock. There is no safety issue whatsoever…they wouldn't be on the road if there was one. There is no comparable model y at the same price range…not even close. The idea that this will become a paperweight bc of a software issue in the future is laughable…yeah…all the karmas out there are paperweights right?
"There is no safety issue whatsoever…"- You are clueless and making untrue statements. There is a whole range of software safety issues right now. Just read and watch in Car streams posted everywhere.
BTW if a company tanks, the car is no longer serviceable without 3rd party companies stepping in.
Problem with 3rd party companies stepping in is there is not enough market here (cars) worth the aftermarket creation of parts and firmware/sw maintenance.
