LOL, Waiting for the rest to follow suit so the industry can focus on advanced Hybrid and Hydrogen tech. This Battery tech is a few decades away if that. They need to find a replacement for strip mining in Africa to make these "GREEN" car batteries.
My model 3 with 160k miles on it begs to differ. Never going back.

Shocking that some are still even considering evs, knowing how bad they are for the environment. Commonsense is dead! Hybrids are mich better for the environment.
Checks out that you care about the environment because here you are online recycling garbage you read somewhere else lolol.

In NY where I live we are 80% renewable powered meaning o see the life of my car, it is certainly better for the environment on the whole.

If you go electric buy Tesla, I've owned one since 2019 and still no comparison with other evs. Just bought a gas truck too which is still great.
The government has wasted billions pumping into legacy auto to make inferior evs. Pretty sure they could have just bought everyone a Tesla for about the same price.

Do you understand what the OP was talking about? Research the lithium triangle in South America and the cobalt mines in the DRC. There is a substantial impact to those marginalized people and communities, and their environments, in order to source the metals essential for battery power for EVs.

"We do not currently have sufficient cash reserves or financing sources sufficient to satisfy all amounts due under the 2026 Notes or the 2025 Notes, and as a result, such events could have a material adverse effect on our business, results of operations and financial condition," Fisker said in its filing.

" Fisker lost $463.6 million while taking in $200 million in revenue in the 4th quarter of 2023"

CNN news this past week.

Buy a Toyota or Honda. Don't risk your life in an experimental vehicle with bad software and no spare parts or support for repairs.

Having owned hybrids for over 10 years I can say hybrids and plug in hybrids have most the disadvantages of ICE vehicles, if not more due to the complexity of having both electric and ICE drive trains. Dealing with regular maintenance, blown head gaskets, brakes, shocks.

Having all Electric for over 5 years I've only had to buy tires, washer fluid and cabin air filters.
If thats true, than you haven't been following the manufactures maintenance schedule at all. EV's still require things like Coolant flushes for the battery cooling system, brake fluid flushes, some need there gear fluid changed, suspension requires inspection and replacement if worn. So if that's all you've done, you are not maintaining your vehicle.
