I feel that Anker is already as generic as I would want to go with charging devices. I know even name brands can malfunction, but I'm still not going more generic than Anker.

Bought an Anker recently thru Amazon and it crapped out less than a month. I don't know if I just got unlucky but thought I purchased a premium product.

All things are not created equal… huge difference between a Chinese factory manufacturing to an outside companies specs and a Chinese owned company manufacturing to their "cut every corner" specs.

The reviews stay on the product page. The problem is that if a seller changes the item on that same product page, or has more than one variation, or item available to choose from on that page, all the reviews will be lumped together, new product reviews with different product reviews.
Note: When there are multiple varieties such as different colors, finishes, sizes of drives, etc... sold on the same product page, the reviews should say which item is being reviewed, just above the review.
Also noticed on the page that it says this is returned less than similar products.
Burned down? Not that I personally know of, but I do know of several meltings/fires that have started from cheap chargers and cables.
