The guy told me there was nothing they could do to price match my order from two days ago at $839 and that I had to order again and return the first one. Such an inconvenience!

The first person said the same thing until I said that someone else had just done it a few months ago. They referred me to customer support and they had me do a screening shot of the new price and refunded me instantly.

Thanks, maybe I'll try again tomorrow. I was very irritated. He says their system won't allow them to price match EPP discounts.

Samsung is being weird again. Just got notification that the one I ordered today for $700 is shipped with UPS tracking information already, yet the one I ordered a few days ago for $839 is still pending with a delay remark and I'm still unable to cancel.

Wait, as I am typing that one now says shipped, so I guess they just got in a whole batch of these soundbars and the delivery time is quick for just ordering today, April 3.

For those that are getting this, there is a newer firmware 1004 out that fixes issues with earc and rear speaker volume levels. The smart things app from Samsung on your phone will tell you the firmware is up to date, but it will probably not be 1004. You can download the firmware from Samsung website and extract to USB and plug it into the bottom of the soundbar USB port is labeled service. Just follow the install instructions provided and just takes 5mins, very easy. Hopefully the 1004 will fix the smart things firmware download for any future releases.
