Wait, I'm supposed to give my money to a company called "Play Airlines" for a flight 8 months from now and just hope they're still in business by then?

And if they are, then I'm supposed to put myself onto a plane flown by a company called "Play Airlines" -- over an ocean?!? Seriously?

i never buy travel insurance, esp on revenue tickets as low as this one. it's a chance i am willing to take.

many credit cards cover travel, if you have one of those, use it.

Reviews for Play airlines are mixed. Cons-lost luggage that never gets recovered, no customer service aside from whatsapp, extra cost for everything (luggage, food and drinks in flight), and there is no in flight entertainment. Pro-They'll get you to your destination, cheap fare, new planes.

Extra cost for luggage comes pretty standard to just about every airline post pandemic and yeah its hard to survive without food for 5 hours
