FYI Most are for Vertuo, which do not take the original Nespresso (or compatible) pods.

This company is horrendous! Every order has been a problem. I ordered a brand new sealed xbox elite controller it was rewrapped and used. It wasn't even like a display model, it was a highly used controller with tape all over the box. I returned it. I then ordered a gaming headset that was listed as open box like new, it arrived looking like crap. Sony headset that was also listed as new, arrived in bad shape. Every single post relating to this company and their deals there are those that claim their item was fine, great condition etc. So take it with a grain of salt, but this company to me is not reliable and it's a crapshoot! stay away!

I just got a used VertuoPlus. Came in today 2 days after ordering. Box was absolutely destroyed and everything was just kinda thrown inside. Everything was still dirty as well. After cleaning, I tested it out and water was leaking through the bottom.

As others have mentioned, don't go with the Vertuo line if you're concerned at all about cost. Any savings on the machine will be more than lost on pod costs if you use it with any regularity.

Much better off finding a deal on the standard (non-Vertuo) pod system since the patent has expired on those pods (unlike Vertuo which Nestle still fully owns and controls -- hence the expensive pod costs). Vertuo patent is currently set to expire in 2030 so no cheap pods for ~6 more years at the earliest.

I've got one of the most simple Nespresso machines (the Pixie) and it works beautifully with regular pods.

All Vertuo, so this is a hard pass, I prefer original cause of the cheaper pods and over time it makes a big difference to the wallet compared to the Vertuo pods which never go on sale.

Guys, I have the OG Vertuoline and us the Blacksmith kit from Amazon to pack my own Vertuo pods. I drink Peet's coffee and it is amazing!

Side question, any difference in taste/quality between the original and Vertuo lines? My preference is the original because of pod cost but I would like to know if the pods for Vertuo models are worth the extra premium per pod.

They do have a different taste. I like both personally but I think I prefer the original.

Do not get the Next model. On the Nespresso subreddit, every day there are posts from people saying their Next stopped working within months of purchase. I personally am 0-for-1 with them, but seems like its more likely than not to be a lemon. Got a Nespresso Plus and that one has been working great for 2 years.

Is the Aeroccino 3 Frother worth a try? Currently using a French press style manual frother but the resulting milk foam is too thick (maybe a ME problem)...
