It looks like someone just grabbed one from a break room somewhere and tossed it in a torn up box without even putting it back in the plastic (which was wadded up and shoved into the box.)
I called customer service and she acted like it was no big deal. Offered a refund or replacement, I opted for the replacement but asked if they could check and make sure it was actually new and she said "No, they don't have time to check things at the warehouse. We just go by what our vendor tells us" as to whether it is new or not.

I second this. I've ordered from them twice and both times my items arrived completely broken and unusable. The first time it took me 3 weeks to get a reply about an exchange/return on headphones that would not power on or charge and another 3 weeks after I had already returned the item (tracker confirmed delivered) to finally get a refund. The second time I ordered picture frames that was clearly marked "new" (I screenshotted it for them as well) on their website but I received a box that had another customer's name and address still on it. There was another label marked "return" and the frames inside were completely obliterated. The wooden frames were smashed and splintered with broken glass everywhere. I tried calling, emailing, and messaging on their website multiple times over the course of 2 months. Finally issued a chargeback with my credit card who approved it within days. Stay far away from Secondipity and don't be fooled by everyone here who will come out the woodwork to say how much they love this company.
