The camera hardware in 3/3pro/4pro is all the same.

Batteries, I have one extra, was open box (new) $50.
When I had the 3pro with 3 batteries, I found out 2 batteries is my real need. My third battery was collecting dust.
I currently use this Mini 3 bundle.

according to this spreadsheet. at least the base controller.

It is software or something they unlocked to justify the higher price point.
The 4 pro has a bit better night capability as well.
I disagreed with one of the comments here say the mini 3 and 4 have the same camera. I go for the 4 pro instead of mini 3 pro because of better camera.
If the price difference is not too much, I would rather get a new instead of refurbished drone. I believe most of the returned drones probably had gone through a lot of abuse.

Mostly due to building obstructions and so many interference sources.
If I am flying in open land areas, hypothetically out of line of sight, I pay close attention to signal strength.
I highly recommend the UAV Forecast app, check it before you take off.
