Only a spaghetti lunch or dinner. For suppers, look elsewhere.

Lot of comments on Costco website about durability issues, and with the bowls getting stuck together when stacked due to the exterior design

If they are anything like the set we bought many years ago. No. They chip easily. They look nice, heavy, but not durable at all.
If your plates are heavy and chip easily…that doesn't sound like bone china. Bone china is light and incredibly chip and break resistant.

This is a huge problem with ours. I bought two sets and can only stack bowls in four max or the weight pushes them together and the bumps cause that sticking problem. I'm waiting for that added stress to crack them soon ...

We had a set of 18 year high end Mikasa which were much better but the kids had broken so many. These are thicker than Corelle but reminds me of a bit like them. Rather than a thick/ opaque white, this is a bit more translucent like Corelle. Like another poster mentioned, is probably very low bone content.

But for the price, it'll be fine until the kids move out of the house...

These are light, and after a few months, no chips yet... But that stacking/sticking together issue for the bowls is a real problem

My mom had a Mikasa high end set from the 90s, if we broke even one, there would've been an amber alert out for us.

We've been using this set for close to two months and they are pretty light and seem durable enough. No chips yet and we use them daily, and dishwash them 2-3x per week. We don't handle them in any special way and my 11yo uses them frequently as well
