If yours is a gmail address (i.e. [email protected]), register for a new Boost account using an alias version of your email address (by adding a plus sign '+' after 'username' followed by any other text, such as [email protected]). Emails sent to such alias addresses will arrive in the main [email protected] account's inbox.

Note: Even though the plus sign '+' is valid per email address RFC standards, many web-sites reject such email addresses (violating the aforementioned RFC standards). Gmail ignores the period '.' character in the username part of e-mail addresses, so you could change it to 'user.name' or 'us.er.na.me' and so forth to sign up under a new email address at Boost (i.e. [email protected]) while still receiving emails sent to those alternate period-based usernames in your main account's inbox.

P.S. Outlook.com / Hotmail, I believe, honors the '+' sign alias syntax but am not sure it ignores the period '.' character in usernames.

99% chance it will be T-Mobile. Almost impossible to get ATT these days, but some have gotten lucky. In my experience, any MVNO using T-Mobile are much more deprioritized than ATT-based networks, but YMMV of course. FWIW, SIM IDs that start with 89012 are T-Mobile and 89014 are ATT.

After 1 year is up, is it possible to switch to $25/month unlimited plan instead of paying yearly of $300? I just don't like to commit to a yearly plan just in case if there's a promo from other carriers.
Yes, I've switched via chat prior to my year ending.

Argh. My phone recently unlocked after being on Metro for 6 months, with the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 (that's a mouthful) device slickdeal. I juuuust signed up with Mint for their 3 month $45 unlimited deal. BUT, I'm well within the Mint Mobile 1 week free cancellation window, and this seems too good to pass up... In for one... and waiting for my SIM card to arrive (perplexed that I can't seem to activate this via eSIM but oh well). Just praying I don't regret this or have to spend time on the phone with CS.

Made the wiki entry for my experiences doing this deal last time around. My only gripe is that their voicemail app won't work at all no matter what I try. Holding down the 1 key on the dialpad does not work for calling into voicemail no matter what settings I change. Others suggested I try the t-mobile voicemail app since my Boost SIM is running on t-mobile's towers. My phone won't run the t-mobile app for some reason. I can't even download t-mobile's voicemail app as the play store says not compatible with my specific device. If you find yourself in a similar situation the number to dial to setup and check your voicemail is 1 (805) 637-7249.

Since I do not need visual voicemail this was not a dealbreaker for me. Also of note the Boost mobile app can be glitchy showing incorrect status of money owed and other things. With unlimted everything and 35GB of data I realized I don't need to check status and can just use their website to manage my account so I uninstalled the app. Within the app you can earn free boostcoins if you are willing to spend the time. You could bank enough coins to get several months of service I think in a one year period if you put the effort into it. The rest of my experiences I put into the wiki just now. Hope it helps others decide if this is a good fit for their needs. ✌🏻

What does "go online to cancel" mean? Can I port out my number before a year end? Thanks

Used a different email address to buy this plan with a top site. My daughter will be happy not having to stick to 5GB/mo. Thanks OP!

Does anyone know is it limited to one per customer and is this deal e sim compatible? I use a lot of data every month. I am thinking correct me if I'm wrong using dual sims , 2 plans /numbers , when one data sim runs out switch my data from regular sim to e sim and visa versus ? Would this work ? iPhone se 2nd gen. Lastly when does this deal expire ?
I purchased 2 on the same account last time. When you finish checking out or at some point during the check out process it'll ask if you want a second line.

No one has mentioned anything about how boost service is? I got my family mint mobile we're finishing up the year and it's been great. In the past thread I've heard/read bad reviews of boost
Service is the same in my experience. Customer support not so great, but mint CS has deteriorated significantly lately as well (suspect due to being bought out).
