Agreed it looks silly but the light color can be set to show battery charge, so there's that.

Mainly it's really handy for battery status and finding in the dark. You can set it to VERY faintly illuminate a color range that's proportional to the battery charge, even when turned off. It's actually just enough to be able to see a slight glimmer in a dark drawer, but not bright enough to be annoying next to your bed. The only thing I don't like is the incredibly complex button sequences to adjust settings - Morse code was easier to learn.

It shouldn't take any longer than a month. Usually it's about two weeks or so. I've ordered at least five of these Sofirn/Wurkos lights now and one of them got lost in transit. I just emailed the company with the tracking and they resent it free. Check the tracking and look to see when it last moved anywhere.

Not sure which ones you own... But I have a sofirn sc31 pro that I have been using for work the past 2 years, still going strong even after dropping it on the ground a few times by accident.
