Banana pancakes is a game changer for old bananas. The banana ratio is way higher than banana bread so you can really make a dent in the old banana supply,

where do you live that a banana cost $10 each? I'm in Dallas Fort Worth areas and stores ranging 25cents each to 49cents/lb.
Bananas costing $10 each is a reference to a classic scene in the show Arrested Development. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl_Qyk9DSUw

JJoye almost certainly doesn't actually live in an area where bananas cost $10 each.

bananas are somehow inflation proof, it's been generally the same price since I was a kid. It's actually cheaper as each day passes.

Ok, so 33c/lb vs 8c/lb, major difference
Is it practical to go there specifically for this? of course not unless one buys in bulk. But I atleast, if I have some time in the store usually slickdeal the store name to see if there are any deals going on. This would certainly be a slickdeal.
The post says .08 each, not .08 per pound so it's not really that slick of a deal.

The industrial farming of cavendish bananas is incredibly bad for the environment

The only cheap banana is one that you grew on your own tree

I wanna try bananas with actual seeds
Cavendish bananas have seeds. They're just very small. And infertile.

Maybe try other banana varieties instead. Apple bananas, lady finger bananas, and red bananas are relatively easy to find in large metropolitan areas.

Does anyone know the SKU so I can Brickseek to see if my local Target has any left? I am sure people were lining up outside Target to buy these.
