Could be ymmv. There is a sale sign with all of the bananas. Employee near the sign told me the cashier has to price adjust the bananas.

Banana pancakes is a game changer for old bananas. The banana ratio is way higher than banana bread so you can really make a dent in the old banana supply,
JJoye almost certainly doesn't actually live in an area where bananas cost $10 each.
Where I live each bnn is 25 cents, this is definitely slick deal

Is it practical to go there specifically for this? of course not unless one buys in bulk. But I atleast, if I have some time in the store usually slickdeal the store name to see if there are any deals going on. This would certainly be a slickdeal.
The post says .08 each, not .08 per pound so it's not really that slick of a deal.
The only cheap banana is one that you grew on your own tree
Maybe try other banana varieties instead. Apple bananas, lady finger bananas, and red bananas are relatively easy to find in large metropolitan areas.
