there are a lot of ways to price out this deal. here is mine.
*Note this might not be available for everyone as I had to enlist family members to authorize the use of their CC to make this happen.

Starting with 1699.99 (calling it 1700)

1700 - 170 (Dell Coupon) = 1530
1530 + 150 in filler + tax pushed it just over 1800 (1806 to be exact)
1806 - 360 (using 3 AMEX offers as Dell lets you split payment into 3 CCs) = 1446

1446 - 10%CB (of 1530+150) = 1278
I was able to sell the fillers, so - 150 from 1278 makes it $1128 tax included.

If we are counting the ~$50 dollars in Dell rewards, it would be $1078

For a 14th Gen i7 + 4070 TI Super + + mb ram + case + ssd + aio + os, this is a screaming good deal.

I do recommend that you bump the machine to 32GB of ram, it will set you back $100. (make sure you buy compatible ram as AW is picky with RAM. I used Crucial Pro 32GB 5600mhz as recommended from various reddit posts)

What would you consider a slick deal on this then? Under 1400 before taxes? Just trying to get a sense here thanks.
Everyone has their own opinions of values. If you must buy today, this seems like the only deal available for 4070 TI Super. The sum of standard components will cost more than 1530 from email -10%.

How does using 3 AMEX offers help when each offer is based on the amount you split? It's essentially the same if you split or not, no?

He bought accesories to increase the price to 1800$. For every 600$ spent on Dell you get 120$ back. He used three Amex to get 360 since you can only use that promo once per credit card.

some offers may be a straight percentage, but he is referring is a specific dollar amount off like $120 off a purchase of $400 (or other amount). my offers are $40 off $200 with amex and 5% off with chase, so it's not nearly as good. As other have said, this is a major YMMV.

I see. Unfortunately, I only have the chase 5%, so I thought the AMEX offer is a straight percentage too. Still went with the deal but that would have made it much sweeter.

Dont kick yourself over it. Deal is different now. They switched motherboard from B670M-A AX to B760M-C. I think its a slight downgrade. Also they ship it with Zotac 4070 Super not PNY. On paper Zotac is slightly better but it sounds different to me than PNY. I wish i kept my original order. PNY card even looked better. What I cant stomach is terrible cable management. Im going to post picture how i received mine later today. It looks like a 6 year old did it. I will fix it myself but its just unprofessional looking
