Let's be honest here, are you actually going to replay it? Or are you going to buy it just to own it? You don't need it 😂 like you don't need that 4th purchase of Skyrim.

I agree with you on this one, I have purchased alot of steam games over the years, own over 450, play maybe 5, I was more of a collector buying whatever was on sale. But now that steam isn't allowing people with os's older than windows 10 to launch their games I have found that what I have purchased doesn't mean anything on steam. GOG for me now if I do buy anything, they don't require you to be online using their software client to play a single player game. I wish there was a movies anywhere type thing for games, sucks to be tied to steam.

Steam blows. I should already own this but with the "Games for Windows Live" debacle, Steam somehow cheated me out of it. So now I'll feel like an idiot if I buy it yet again.

I replayed this game about 5 months ago, holds up amazingly well in most ways that matter and in my opinion has a better world than GTA5.

One thing to note - you have to cap the game at 60fps to avoid physics and camera glitches, mostly involving driving cars (camera spins out of control when you drift) and driving motorcycles (physics seemed buggy to me). No issues after I applied the 60fps cap in the menu.

Sucks, but it's not a competitive FPS so it's servicable, and still looks 1 million times better than it did on the 360 and PS3.

Great game. Too bad they removed some of the music from the radio. I think there's a mod that you can install that brings it back, but I was too lazy to go through all of that. I'm somewhat surprised they never released a "remaster" or even a port for the newer generation of consoles. Rockstar finally released a port of RDR for PS4 recently which was surprising.

I've been out of the loop, apparently, what was this debacle, exactly?

If you can get this running there are some really amazing high quality graphic mods that make this cool to play in modern times

Amazing how well this looks on a decent PC vs 360 of course and the One X and SX. I have a 2070 Super and wow, game is fantastic all these years later

I'd wager a Google search would net you an answer much faster than posting here and waiting for one.

Sometimes I'm so caught up on a good deal that I forget if I truly need it. This is a great deal for those who haven't played the game before, but the better deal for me (and probably a lot of other people) is to not buy the game if it's going to collect dust in their Steam library.
