Bought this today just for the batteries since I got the $99 40v hedge trimmer and been waiting for a battery deal… guess I've added 40v makita to the repertoire. Can't have enough power tools, ever.

Fortunately, the last thing I need is three nice Makita tools and only two batteries. I have a ton of 18V that are just fine. Really they're just fine.

Just picked it up for $235, also got the sawzall and grinder for $83ea. Now I need more batteries

What expired, the clearance at your store ? Or the clearance at all stores? How do u know which stores have their clearances expiring at certain times? Unless it was a nationwide clearance? 🤨

This deal is not over, i actually found it today for $235 clearance while shopping for emergency plumbing supplies.

Oddly if you check Brickseek for the store (zip code 77083, Kingsbridge #6860) it shows 29 in stock but when i went in, i saw only one. When you check HD's page with this store, it shows unavailable though.

The single GT200D was in the Makita locked-cage endcap, not in clearance end cap and had the yellow sticker for $235.

It didn't, shows as regular price $469.00, only in store did it show.

I went back last night to pick up additional plumbing supplies, clearance sticker on Makita endcap is still there and i saw at least 2 in the cage.

Still shows unavailable on Home Depot website for this store even though Brickseek lists 28 in stock.
Perhaps see if you can find a store near you where it shows unavailable on HD site, then check Brickseek to see if it shows in stock for the store? That may be the pattern to finding this deal.

Just found another set for $235. Some stores have a free 4ohm battery with set purchase now. So I tried, no luck. The display wasn't up at the store I found it at $235 though.
