Thanks to Deal Hunter Navy-Wife for posting this deal.

Note: Available sizes may vary

Features:
  • Like a warm jacket for your feet, knit material in the upper helps keep your feet warm. Skins placed around the toes—in areas where water can seep in—help to keep you dry. Insulation in the back of the tongue helps your feet stay warm and comfortable.
  • A water-repellent finish and gusseted tongue work together to help keep your feet dry. Soft lining in the collar helps keep your ankle warm and dry.
  • The Storm-Tread outsole provides traction in wet weather. It has textures inspired by winter tires. Micro grooves grab the road, while multidirectional shapes help shed water for direct contact with the pavement.
  • Nike React technology is a lightweight, durable foam that delivers a smooth, responsive ride. We paired it with 2 Zoom Air units (at the forefoot and heel) for an energized feel at toe-off. The result is a smooth transition from heel to toe.

I own an earlier pair of these that I love. Great for rain and other precipitation. But because of the weather resistance, they're not the most breathable shoe around. Can get quite warm, so not really for hot climates unless you're regularly out in the rain.

I had the black/gray/green colorway for over a year and just returned them back to Nike for a full refund. The weatherproofing plus all the standard features of the Pegasus shoe were great. I ran in the snow and rain and the storm traction held up very well.

The issue is the upper. They make a "popping" noise when you bend your foot. So, you basically feel and hear this pop with every step. People that reviewed them say that this goes away after the break in process and that wasn't my experience.

These run even tighter than regular Pegs. And Peg 40 is tighter than 39. So if you feet is slightly wide, you will have hard time fitting into them.

No. They are designed to keep your feet comfortable running in cold damp weather.

I am also looking for shoes for road running. I tend to just run on gravel because concrete completely kill my shins.

These are extremely comfy and good for the winter/ rainy days. It's not great in the warmer season due to no ventilation. I would recommend these

How did you go about returning them? I want to get these, but afraid of the popping noise issue so many people mention
