This is 20oz. compared to the 32oz I normally purchase. It works out a bit cheaper though thanks to the coupon.

Great price!
Even at Aldi a 12oz bag is $5.50

Costco still works out to be less, but I like having a smaller container instead of the 3lb one that they sell.

Good find. That's better than BJ's Wholesale's store brand 2 lb [bjs.com] for $8.49 (or $8.99 in my area).

Coupon applies to their other products as well. I chose the "superfood" blend powder. They had some PBfit stuff as well, though I don't know if the prices are a good deal on their own.

I initially had this container before I found out that Costco sells these. I saved this container after eating all of the seeds and have been refilling it with the 3lb chia seeds from Costco.

What do you all use these for? I've been integrating them (whole) in a morning drink. Is their nutritional effectiveness affected by eating them whole vs. grinding? (I ask because they, um, come out more or less whole)

I looked it up and there isn't much information on grinding these vs eating whole. I never grind them though and just sprinkle on top of oatmeal or yogurt. We also like chia pudding, either chocolate or vanilla. Vanilla with mango topping is delicious.

The magic happens when they are exposed to water. Doesn't matter if they are consumed ground or whole I'd wager, they turn into a nutritious gel either way.
