I would think so. Don't quote me on this but so far all gift cards I bought from Costco did not have this limitation and I think it's generally true for all gift cards, otherwise they should be called promotional card instead of gift card.

Just FYI. I don't think you can use these for birthday parties or group events. When I looked at these cards at Costco a few months ago, that was an exclusion listed on the back in fine print.

Used in Vegas last weekend for a private party. Minimum food and drink purchase $600 for our party of 7 and these cards helped a bunch. Give the event planner a heads up, just in case. Was able to buy 6 of these (says limit 5 YMMV)
