Bialetti - Moka Espress: Iconic Stovetop Espresso Maker, Makes Real Italian Coffee, Moka Pot 6 Cups (6 Oz), Aluminium, Silver

The original moka coffee pot: Moka Express is the original stovetop espresso maker, it provides the experience of the real Italian way of preparing a tasteful coffee, its unique shape and the inimitable gentleman with moustache date back to 1933, when Alfonso Bialetti invented it.
Made in Italy: it is Made in Italy and its quality is enhanced by the patented safety valve which makes it easy to clean and its ergonomic handle, available in many sizes and suitable for gas, electric and induction (with the Bialetti induction adapter plate)
How to prepare the coffee: fill the boiler up to the safety valve, fill it up with ground coffee without pressing, close the moka pot and place it on the stovetop, as soon as Moka Express starts to gurgle, turn the fire off and coffee will be ready
One size for each need: Moka Express sizes are measured in Espresso Cups, coffee can be enjoyed in Espresso Cups or in larger containers
Cleaning instructions: the Bialetti Moka Express should be rinsed simply with water, after use. Do not use detergents. The product should not be washed in the dishwasher as this could cause damage to the product and affect the taste of the coffee.
Warranty: 90 Day Woot Warranty

Just buy some popular Chinese knockoffs. I don't taste any difference except my wallet feels way better.

This doesn't make espresso like they describe. Espresso is extracted under far high pressures. This will make a strong cup of coffee though

Funny, we just went to Italy for almost 2 weeks and stayed in 3 AirBNBs….one had Nespresso, one had another style very much like that, and the third had one of these stovetop espresso makers.

This style was kind of a PITA for a little bit of strong coffee (or weak espresso), but still good. Among all of them, though, I'm glad to have my drip maker back again…considering a Nespresso now too, though Wink

I have owned these stovetop espresso makers in other brands, even respected Italian brands such as Lagostina, but these Bialetti models always ALWAYS always produce the perfect cup(s) of espresso each and every time. There is no trial and error in trying to deduce water or coffee levels. Other brands will leave water in the bottom that only stubbornly percolates to the top, like those last few kernels in the microwave popcorn bag. A Bialetti just takes what you give it and the output is sempre perfetto.

If I did not happily own one of these already, I would easily buy this at this price. I just might buy another one anyhow...

Knockoff for something that costs $20 and is probably much better quality?

No idea on this product, but I have a few Bialetti pans I really like. Especially this griddle/crepe pan.

Works great and really seems to hold up. Granite surface is very scratch resistant and non stick.

Knockoffs are normally terrible quality. You'll see once it starts leaking all over, or the coffee doesn't come up.
Bialetti never let me down, spare parts are widely available and it will last you a lifetime.
It's not "same same".

Moka pots are actually what Bialetti Is famous for. They added a range of other kitchen utensils recently
