This dumbbell set should be set at a permanent price of $200. No one is paying full retail price. These dumbbells go on sale for this price about once a month.

I've had these for a year. I don't think I'll max them out any time soon except for a couple of exercises like shrugs. For those who only do dumbbells, can you link a great weekly workout schedule with just dumbbells and a bench?
I dont have a link to any specific workouts however ChatGPT will help you 100%

I got mine during the pandemic for 287 - they're pretty great but take a second to switch weight

I have been looking for a set of adjustable dumbbells for a while and finally settled on these. Comparing price, durability, ease of use, safety, reviews, etc, had these at the top of my list. Almost got the expandable ones but 50lb max is enough for my smaller frame.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BKT...VsbA%3D%3D

Here's the workout in text form:
Reps 10-20, until you slow down noticeably (that's how you judge before failure). No rest, unless your cardio/conditioning demands a short rest (30s say).

Superset 1 (30 secs - 1 min rest)
Dumbbell Skull Crushers (Tricep)
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts (Hamstring)

Superset 2-
Upright Row (Delts)
Split Squat (Glute)

Superset 3
Dumbbell Curls (Bicep)
Front Squats (Quad)

Superset 4
Dumbbell Pull Over (Lats)
Dumbbell Flye (Chest)

Superset 5
Push Up (Chest)
Dumbbell Bent Over Rows (Back)

You don't even need up to 50lbs for this workout, it will beat you up using just 20lbs.

You can do this workout 3 days a week, then at the end you can add:
Day 1: weighted standing or seated calf raises 2 x 10-20
Day 2: 3 x 10-15 of something like hanging leg raises or modified candlestick
Day 3: 2 x 12 of Face Pulls (very slow, really control the eccentric)

After doing it for a month, for variety you can adjust the workout with similar exercises, for example, switch push ups for incline dumbbell press. Switch split squat for lunges, rows for pull ups, etc

The Compact Stand is definitely better than the full sized one. It allows you to stand closer to the weights when picking them up or setting them down.

https://sport.woot.com/offers/pow...cnt_wp_0_4

I have this one and it is great. You do have to be careful attaching the grip adhesive tape to the stand though. I was - but I can't imagine trying to realign it if it was needed. Some very strong adhesive.

I have had my PowerBlock's with Expansion Set I (total 70 pounds) on this stand with no issue. Mine when I got it said it was good up to the 90 pound set but I don't think I'll ever need Expansion Set II.

I got my PowerBlock Elite USA Stage 1 & 2 from Woot for $299 (Stage 1) and the Stage 2 was $139 at the time. Happy with my purchase.
The listing says it's the small compact stand, but the picture appears to be the large compact stand since it has the cylinder weight holders in the middle. The MSRP listed is also $99.00, which matches the large stand. Just double checking that this has a max weight capacity of 90lbs for each dumbbell. Thanks!

I've been wanting to expand my dumbbell selection, but I just won't do this to my local UPS guy. I guess it's kinda the only option, nowadays... I can't think of where I'd go to buy something like this locally.

I've done the P90Xs with resistance bands and it mostly isn't that bad (most recently the wirecutter-suggested Bodylastics set which was a nice improvement over my old ones). Some exercises are awkward, but once you figure it out and have some good anchor spots for pulling exercises, it works ok. Nice thing with the bands is that my wife and I can easily share as we never use the same bands in the same workout.

Bodylastics are great because of the anti snap-back safety feature built into them. Because of that, they are a little pricier than most of the ones with out the safety feature (but again, without the safety feature). We have a set of Bodylastics that we use mostly for travel and it's in the 3-142LB range. For some reason Amazon only has the huge set's right 3-282LB. We got our smaller (but still quite effective) set for a little less than $50

They come in 3 or 4 boxes. At least mine did.

It depends on what type of workout you're looking for, but I recently came across Caroline Gervan on youtube and I really enjoy the workouts. I'm a mid-40s male in pretty good shape, and I mainly do group exercise classes at the local gym. When I work out at home, I use the Bowflex 552s. Caroline Gervan has a variety of different series for different types of goals. I started with her Iron series, which is heavier dumbbells than some other series (everything is under 50 pounds though, aside from when she uses one 60+ lb dumbbell for hip thrusts). When I finished Iron, I moved to the Fuel series and I'm on the second week. It's a little faster paced with fewer rests, but still a solid strength exercise. And I really like the production value of her videos. She starts off by describing the workout for a few minutes (which you can skip if you're not interested), but once the clock starts she doesn't say a word. There are occasional instructions on the screen, but there are no one-liner jokes like other videos have. Those get old after a while. The screen always has a timer countdown for how much time is left on the exercise (or how much rest time is left), and the % complete is on the bottom left. As you're finishing up one exercise, there's a box in the upper left of the screen with instructions on how to do the next exercise.

I'd wait for the expandable ones if they ever go on sale, or try to buy used maybe.

I wish I could expand larger than 90lbs.

Thanks for the tip. For whatever reason I just prefer "follow-along" style programs like P90X to ones where they just provide exercise demos and then tell you to go on at your own pace (like Athlean X)

Just doesn't work for my motivation...I'd rather watch my old grainy videos of Tony Horton telling the same jokes again than have to do my own pacing...but those jokes DO get old.

I also find value in the fact that he gives form tips as you move through the exercises...harder to get lazy when someone is doing the exercise right in front of you and saying "keep that straight" or whatever.

Unfortunately, "follow-along" programs take a lot more time and effort to create, so so much of the stuff out there is just a list of exercises with a link to a form-demo video.

If you're like me and don't want to watch a bunch of YouTube videos, here's a 42 week series.

Yours sounds like the EXPandable ones that go up to 90lb. These 50lbers are suppose to come in only 2 boxes at 50lb ea.
