I used drano with mixed success to clear clogs in my sinks. What I've found works a lot better is a plunger. I got a little sink plunger for $2 or so and it makes much shorter work of clogs than drano does.

how is this better than OPs deal? I see $17 for a 2 pack, 80oz or $8.50 each. OPs is at least $6 after S&S (if not cheaper)? Are we missing something?

Plumbers usually hate hearing about this.

One of them once explained to me that it damages their drain snaking equipment and possibly the pipes too.

Since then, all I use is baking soda + vinegar + boiling water

Highly recommend using a straightened hanger with a hook on the end. Ever since I started doing that I get all my clogs out with no chemicals. I guess I would use this if there's no way I could get a hanger down the drain, but for sinks and showers it works great.

That's what I did. The 2 pack for me is $11.48 with free shipping. Walmart has each one for $9.47.

When my tub/shower starts draining a little slow, I use a toilet plunger. Works every time. The key is don't wait too long.

If your sink is draining slowly, learn how to take the P trap apart. It only takes 2 minutes and it's much better than destroying your plumbing with these chemicals.

Agreed. And besides, this has never worked on hair clogs for me (which is most of my house clogs due to long hair). The Drain Weasel or similar knockoffs work much better for me.

I own a house & I've been using this product forever as needed. There's no issue with my plumbing. Don't believe the hype!
