Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but IMHO this whole series was an awful potpourri of random callbacks from TNG composted into a nonsensical mess in hopes of tickling fan nostalgia. Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds do this properly, while also finding their own identities; Picard's meandering idiocy will simply tarnish any fond memories of Trek you might have.

If it's in any way cheaper to just purchase the 3rd season by itself that's the way I'd personally go. That said if you get all 3 don't give up after season 1 or 2 because season 3 is some of the best star trek ever made

I actually don't get the hate. I've enjoyed all of Picard and can't stand Strange New Worlds. I actually enjoyed Picard better than Discovery but maybe that's not a surprise to anyone. I love the actors coming back to their roles and having some fun with it again. Everyone loves to crap on everything new but I enjoy that they're doing something rather than living in fear of stepping on someone's precious nostalgia. There are some low points, but it's good fun.

Totally this. Season 3 is where it's at, Season 1 and 2 were wastes of time.

Shame these aren't blurays so you could at least have the enjoyment of throwing Season 1 & 2 in the trash.

I agree. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it (only once though, can't see rewatching this), but it's definitely not as good as TNG, Lower Decks, or Strange New Worlds.

Side note, I STARTED with Lower Decks, then watched every series in order from the beginning. Lower Decks was still good the 2nd time around, and it took awhile to get into, but I REALLY liked Voyager. If this was TNG or Voyager, I'd probably jump on it in a minute, although Paramount's current status has me a little hesitant.

Seasons 1 and 2 are so bad I actually became bitter and resentful. I've been a huge fan of Star Trek for my entire life and these two seasons are just so, so bad that I actually started to resent the franchise in general. I have Eaglemoss ships for crying out loud! If it weren't for Dave Cullen's absolutely glowing reviews, I wouldn't have even given Season 3 a chance.
That being said, Season 3 is way, way, way better than the other two seasons. It's like it's a totally different show.

I'm going to reiterate, I dislike seasons 1 and 2 so much that I'm going to intentionally not purchase them, even if they're part of a bundle. I'd rather buy season 3 at full price instead just to express my disgust towards the previous two seasons.

This is not real Star Trek. Don't let the name on the product fool you.

I would love to see a season dedicated to those creepy artificial arms coming out of that portal.

They know where to go….I bet they would be coming to liberate their android cousins.

Its cheaper to just stream it off Paramount+, esp if you can scoop up a free sub promo that is floating around on another SD thread.

It's like the ramblings of a senile old man became an infectious disease.

Man people really hated season 1 and 2. I don't get it. I thought they were ok.
