I got these last time they were on sale and the Glacier Cherry tastes just like Alka Seltzer. The other flavors did not taste like medicine but they did not taste like Gatorade Zero either — just sort of like artificial sweetener dissolved in water. They say that one tablet is good for 20 oz but that is WAY too optimistic— you taste nothing if you follow those instructions. I found that 2 tablets in a 32 oz water bottle is about the right mixture but you are better off not buying these at all. Walmart's "Energy Rush" flavored powders with Taurine are light years better.
Also picked up a 40 count.
They only had the immune support variety with Zinc + Vitamin C. Seems like a great Airborne substitute. It was $9.09 for me after 15% S&S discount.
Also got the strawberry Propel in an 80-count pack, for $14.70 after the 50% coupon and 15% S&S.
ANyone know when they say "Zero Sugar" does that mean artificial sweeteners or like No sweeteners?
These have sorbitol, sucralose, and maltodextrin. The first two are sweeteners. Maltodextrin is two molecules of glucose bonded together so it isn't considered a sugar officially but it is acts almost the same as a sugar because the bond is broken and it becomes two molecules of glucose. It is a very small amount because they can market the product as zero calories but it is listed in the ingredients. It is also a sweetener.
These don't taste like Gatorade. They taste like slightly carbonated Gatorade.
