I dunno about this year but I bought them for $0.10 each at Walmart last year in November. They had it online for that price but in ]-store was more expensive, I believe $1.49 each. With all the hype for the April eclipse, I'm guessing prices have been jacked up. It might get to that price closer to April 8th.

If these are truly Medical King glasses, they should be fine. It's easy to test them by looking at an incandescent light bulb and verify that you can only see the glow of the filament -- everything else should be dark. If they do not pass the test, send them back.

I have to wonder about these, and any other from AAS-approved manufacturers but sold on Amazon…how can we know for sure that what we receive are in fact legit? Amazon can't guarantee they're giving you the real thing since mixed inventory happens all the time, from what I understand.
