It's funny because this has two USB4 ports which is what people yearn for and homeboy is complaining about old ports with less functionality.

It doesn't have dedicated buttons for track pointer.
Kind of deal breaker if you use track pointer

Hub - one more thing to carry around. Somebody hands you an old flash drive, you need to use the dock. Want to give a presentation - pull the dock out. Quite inconvenient for business use where you may run into a variety of situations and the compatibility is critical.

Ok for home or school use I guess.

Own an z13 for almost a year . Best laptop ever. Use macbook 16 M1 Pro for a month and return that and bought a z13 decent battery and screen . Install fedora with it as my daily drive for work and entertainment no regrets. Z16 has better battery life and performance, but I like the light weight for carrying around . If people like me love to work on sofa don't get the 16 inch laptop those are too heavy and hard to work for long

This is how much it should have costed on release, not 2 years later. I like thinkpads (my best friend is a thinkpad) but this is way overpriced. Soldered RAM and non-standard USB-PD charger are cons. Even if soldered, no 32GB RAM option. wifi card is soldered too so no upgrade to wifi7. Good speakers though.

This device was designed for planned obsolescence. I hope framework eats their lunch (though it's obviously way more expensive)
