Nope. Doordash will send the order to whoever they can. It will show item count but not what item it is.

Eh, fees and tip on a $45-50 order with DashPass are like $9-10 ($2.50 fees, $6-7 tip is my usual for a simple order in my smallish city). I needed a step ladder that was $50 and grabbed that, total price delivered to my door with a $7 tip was $40.55.

If it means me not having to go to the store, I don't care if I'm only saving $0.50. That's good enough for me.

You have to remember it's not just simply a matter of saving some negligible amount of money, but really more so about saving time.

Serious question though - I was looking to get a couple dozen bags of mulch and that's an option on Doordash...will the order go through though? Do only dashers with trucks get called over to Lowes?

If you order heavy items and don't tip enough to incentivize the dashers (or the dashers don't want to) your order will just sit in limbo until it gets autocancelled or by the store.

Experience ordering water cases from walgreens, which is also fulfilled by doordash

After fees tips and other nonsense I assume this deal is a wash and you could just have gone to the store yourself?

So I put a $45 item in my cart to see how much is saved:

Subtotal: $45 (4pack of smart outlets, small and lightweight)
Delivery fee: $1.99
Taxes + more fees: $9.90
Total: $36.89

Total + minimum displayed tip ($7.50): $44.39

My lowes is 6 miles or about 12min away from me.

Yep after service fee and free delivery fee and a $4 tip. I saved 50 cents😆.
The store is 1/2 a mile away, I'll just get it myself.

Can combine this with $100 Doordash cards for $90

For items totalling $99.96 I get delivery fee $1.99 and other fees $14.99. With the $10 default tip it comes out to $97. But I could sign up for a month of DashPass and cut $12 off the fees for net savings of $2. That would make the total $95
But you can also get a Doordash gift card for 10% off so spend $90 on a $100 gift card.
Thats $100 stuff delivered for net cost of $95 and have $5 credit left over. Even better if you already have DashPass which many people have free deals for via credit cards.
If its something thats already a good price at Lowes you would buy anyway then its >10% off and free delivery.
