Good deal; I love the vortex! I have one from the 90s that is still great. The new ones are still pretty good.

I also have 2-3 from Dollar Tree from a year or two ago, and all of them are missing fins. Theyre not worth $1.25, lol

I so can't wait for my kid to be old enough to play with this. So many hours spent throwing this as far as possible to my friends in my childhood home. I can't believe it's still here in the same form as when it first came out decades ago.

I've owned roughly 4 of these since the John elway did the commercial and was in junior high. First off the original threw way further then you thought. I just tested this one and noticed two things yes it howls but not too loud. Older models were louder. And takes more arm to throw. It's not as effortless as older models. If you know the limits these will last if you use it in the streets the wings will rip and it's useless. Haha and FYI it always was a John Elway commercial.
