Maybe. In the last few months, I have been drawn to build and got my kids, Lego sets, and even at this crazy good price, I can't see him being interested in building this. It's too niche

Picked this set up for 70 something last time it was posted at Amazon. Was a fun build and took me 3 days lol. Also picked up and led light kit for it. Just the tree alone is worth having imo
Frustration Free packaging is best for Amazon Lego purchases. you get the same Lego box but it comes in a sturdy outer shipping box which often then gets another regular Amazon box around it. So your Lego box will not get crushed which happens often otherwise with Amazon Lego shipments
