Any warranty claim is going to be a hassle and shipping a heavy battery back to them will be very expensive. Just know what you're getting into.

China, of course. The founder of Weize is a chemical engineer, and they put out a pretty good product based on thousands of Amazon reviews. I'm plenty happy with mine, but if you want a US brand the ACDelcos aren't too bad on pricing from Amazon. Be advised; those may be from overseas as well.

I'm not trying to make a case; I'm just trying to save you money. It's all good; you do you and I'll do me. I've owned several AGMs of this brand and they work well for me with no issues. If this post helps other SD members, I'm happy.

YOU'RE telling everyone that in essence this must be unreliable because it's a good price. What did you base that on, that you don't like their website? If you aren't interested, why not just move along instead of overtly bashing quality based on...no evidence offered at all from you. So just a gut feeling?

If you don't trust reviews, and you don't trust deal posters, and you don't trust established brand names, then what exactly do you use as evidence to make purchase decisions?

My cars have Bosch and VARTA (very expensive if you can find them). The Bosch is 10 yrs. old and still going strong, the Varta is 8. I usually get whatever the top of the line NAPA AGM battery is but they still don't compare. My NAPA Legend AGM in my GMC goes bad faster than the non AGM battery for some reason.
Pretty sure the group 25 ac Delco gold agm I just replaced in a Spark EV was a varta

Made in Germany $150 on summit no core exchange

Lithium is dropping pretty quickly, due to thermal run away I would stay clear of the po4 batteries but LTO with some alternator voltage mods is very promising.

If only car manufacturers would stop trying to sell $300 batteries as part of their money making models for the stealerships allot of lead could be saved being transported, stockpiled for recycling, then processed into new junk batteries only to be shipped back across the ocean under some Chinese brand.

Costco doesn't install battery. That's a headache for a lot of people.

Neither does weize so I'm not sure how that's relevant here

You're going to get a reality check with the lithium battery. Even vehicles that have 12V batteries from the factory have many issues. They are not more reliable. I can guarantee that you won't get anything near the 8-10 years you can get out of a good lead acid battery, whether it's AGM or not. Just get whatever is specified by your manufacturer. If it needs an AGM, get an AGM.
The manufacturer of the Mini I also put a lithium battery in farked up the timing chain so bad they had to recall them all before they exploded. Sometimes the manufacturer doesn't know what they're doing either. I trust the fact that every smartphone, laptop, and electric car on the planet uses lithium.

I live in Florida. Not a chance in hell any battery exposed to the elements is gonna last 8 years. But Noco will give me another battery when mine dies in 4 years. Advance Auto or Oreillys wouldn't do shit for me after I brought in a battery that wasn't even 2 years old. I'm not depending on the battery, I'm depending on the warranty and customer support quality.

I just upgraded one of my cars with this.

Here are a few things to know.

AGM is proven. It was actually invented in the 1970's. This sounds old until you realize that the current tech of the lead/acid that you are now using was invented in the 1800's.

Do not just take the word of the system to if this will fit your car.
According to the system, the AGM that I am using would not fit and it fit just fine.

To make sure if it is the right battery for you you need to check these things...

Size...height/width/length. It does not need to exact. It just needs to be able to fit into the hole that you have now. It also needs to fit on the plate your battery sits on. I would be stunned if you did not have a couple of inches of extra play there.

+ and - poles need to be on the correct sides. Now you may be saying..."Just turn it around". Uhhh...no...you will notice that the poles sit towards the side and not in the dead center. Typically your battery cables do not allow for that much distance from the original.

12v, of course.

And CCA or Cold Cranking Amps. Having more than the original battery is not a problem. In fact, that is a good thing. You just do not want less.

Lastly...some people may have side mounts and not top mounts. Just pick up some adapters....and make sure that you factor the adapters in when measuring the hole the battery goes into.

Until the price of lithium car batteries come down, this is the way to go.
They last longer. They are more tolerant of heat. They can sit unused longer.
COVID and the cars just sitting killed a couple of batteries for me and led me to find this option.

ACDelco's are made in Korea....

Only brand that's 100% made in America is Deka/East Penn (Duracell, etc), both JCI/Clarios and Exide have moved south of the border on many of their lines.
You're wrong. I'm 100% certain SOME batteries sold by East Penn are manufactured by other companies in multiple countries around the world. This is due to them not being able to manufacture everything they have orders for. They have had their own supply chain and labor problems.

My 500 CCA lithium battery was cheaper than the lead acid one the auto parts store was trying to sell me. And that wasn't even AGM.

Thanks, I'll look into that...waiting for the Lithium too, the shape/size has to be right in order to fit properly.
Totally agree...they worry about using straws and not batteries, tires, tons of dirty fuel used by the ships that bring us the toxic stuff from the CCP.

Owner of one..Have had this battery brand(agm) in my 2018 f150. Replaced my original battery. Put it in November of 2023. It has run like a champ so far. I put the trickle charger on it and it was always at 95% before charging. just saying it is worth the money, no matter who makes it. Time will tell, but it runs like a champ !!

This battery worth buying? My battery for my Range Rover Sport is starting to have issues holding a charge. It has start/stop functionality as well (I think that relies on battery)
You main problem is driving a Range Rover.

I'm tickled with my Weize Group 48/H6 as well. It's doing a great job at one year since installation. The low price is icing on the cake.
Its only been one year. Did you expect it to crap out already? 😂 I have my duralast gold for 17 years. Still going strong.

500CCA is pretty low. I suspect it is under the min CCA most people have in their cars.
I think that I saw you live in FL. You may be able to get away with 500CCA as you are warmer year round.

I would say that the entire north does not have this level of forgiveness in the winter.
