Wife was paying about $100 per week in gas... now it is FREE.
We have a trickle charger that does about 1% per hour and it is good enough for the weekends.
My brother-in law just doesn't drive enough and he may use a supercharger once every month but he also uses the trickle charger for all other charging. He does not have free charging but it works for him.
Others will install a charger at their home or use the "electric" dryer plug. These chargers usually do about 7 - 10 miles per hour. What is good is if you live in a state that has lower price electricity at night.
I was very skeptical but it only took a week for me to really like the EV's. I love the one pedal driving.
If I don't buy a car, I'm mildly inconvenienced.
If a dealer doesn't sell a car, he's bankrupt.
So who has the leverage in a market like that, the seller or the buyer?
The buyers who were willing to overpay have already bought, and the rest are refusing to buy at current prices. "Market adjustments" are a 2-way street.
It is not about printing money.
Also, I feel Tesla makes the best EV due to how long they have been doing it. I own the tesla for about 2 months and have already gotten 2 updates.
Plus the electric network that Tesla owns.
But 310 works pretty good. And with the free charging at work and the trickle charger at home... it is perfect.

It gets about 5 miles/kw.
Eversource Electric bill was $350/month, owned system with 3 batteries is a $250/month bill x 10 years after tax credit.... so tell me how bad this is?
AND not a "green" person, just a cheap one 🙄 who likes to save.
