I know a family that went solar, totally, selling excess back, etc. they also charge their cars with their solar. It's like having your own oil well. So, during the blackouts a few years ago, they went merrily on while people were suffering in the heat, panicking, filling their tanks, plain going crazy as people do when their conveniences are at risk. Made me think differently.
*electrician labor rates
*location of electrical panel (assuming your panel has slots for a the charger)
*location of charger to be installed (closer will be cheaper due to less time/labor and less materials)
*charger connection: Level2 plug vs direct wire for the wall charger
Some manufactures (ie GM) include a home charger outlet install w/ an EV purchase (possibly lease too); customer supplies own EV charger ($300-$700).
IF your electrical pannel is CLOSE to the final EV wall charger desired location, figure close to $1k. Again, rates vary depending on where you live.
cars like the Ioniq 6 can already do 10% to 80% in 20 minutes
Lol, if you can find a charger capable of that speed. That works. And weather permitting. EVs are cool but holy crap they are comprised.
The Ioniq 5 charges 20-80% in 17min
So many factors go into the OTD price. Do some research, don't be lazy

LMFAO Toyota has been talking about Hydrogen for 15+ years, saying they're close. It will never come to fruition in a consumer vehicle because it doesn't make sense. In a semi for trucking purposes, maybe, but not for a consumer vehicle.
The writing is on the wall, and once it starts it will be a race to the bottom, with the stubborn dealers losing out most. Followed by an influx of affordable cars that the dealers (and manufacturers) have turned their noses up at for the last few years.
Something hit the hydrogen tank the driver most likely dead and it is the same for gas car.
