Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.

You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.

Until they make an EV which fully recharges in 15-20 mins (this is the time taken to refill gas, use the restroom and grab something to munch on while I'm on long trips) I'll be avoiding these for now. As it stands, Toyota's hydrogen engines look more promising.
That 'promising' technology is $200 a tank in California, if you can ever find an open station to fill up.
The governor promised back in 2018 that there would be 200 stations by now. There's about 65 and on any given day half of them are closed due to supply or operational issues.

On the other hand, there are charging stations in pretty much every shopping center in town now. To point you almost want to get an EV just for the prime parking spots.

There was no green deal passed, what passed into law was the IRA, that wasnt shoved down anyones throats, it only incentivized certain green products because nobody is paying for the envirinmental damage fossil fuels have done. Anyone can still buy gas cars. If you're whining about anything shoved down throats, whine about the taxpayer subsidies that have existed for decades for the fossil fuel industry, including funding the misinformation echo chambers you've been swimming in.
after 2030, no new internal combustion engines will be made. soOo….shoved down our throats, or nah? where's ol' take it up the Buttegeieg??? still on leave because; yA know, reasons🤣 misinformation or nah? nobody is paying the environmental damage of fossil fuels? wow, go to China and tell them to stop polluting! save us whyzir! you are so smart, we, so dumb. enlighten us! save us! please?!😂🤣🤣😂

I mean.... if you really wanted THIS car (not sure why you would), it could save you some money over owning the thing.

You basically end up paying for 1/3 of the vehicle, and are renting it for 3 years.

Consider the math year-round.

Most folks aren't driving more than 400-500 miles in a single day. A single 15ish minute supercharger stop in a Tesla (or one of the new fast charging EVs from a few other brands- NOT the one in this deal) gets you there... on a 500 mile trip you'd probably stop that long at least once in a gas car too for drinks, fuel, using restroom, etc.

So no lost time there at all. If you're in the deep minority who wants to drive like 600+ miles in a day a second 15 minute stop gets you there just fine in an EV (or ~700+ if one of your two stops is say the length of a sit down meal which you'd probably want on a 700+ mile single day drive)

Meanwhile the OTHER 99% of the year you waste at least 5-10 minutes each time you have to stop at a gas station, likely 1-2 times a week.... (the actual pumping might be 2 minutes, but everyone ignores the time to pull out of traffic into the station, pay/deal with nozzle and cap on both ends, then get back out into traffic and back to speed).... every week... While the EV owner just parks at home, plugs in, and wakes up to a "full tank" every morning.

In other words, over any given year, the EV owner "wastes" far less time fueling their vehicle than a gas car owner does.
If people bought what they mostly need, half the cars on the road wouldn't be SUV's. People buy for the exceptional circumstance like driving through snow, hauling a lot of stuff or having the range to drive as far as they need nonstop (gas fillups are so quick they hardly count as a stop). They also don't want to have to worry about range degradation, range loss from outside temperatures or running the cabin HVAC or the incomplete/dubious reliability record of EV's.

28% of households only have one car. Off that bat, that's a huge swath of people who'll likely never buy an EV because they don't want to give up the convenience of a gas car for long road trips.

Look what happened to the truck market. They went from inexpensive work vehicles to gargantuan 4 door lifestyle/luxury family haulers with short beds with prices approaching $100k.

People want a vehicle that can do it all or at least cover multiple duties, but EV's only have one benefit: refueling them is a lot cheaper than gas. You can call it dumb or irrational, but the customer is always right.

Until EV's become convenient to use and operate, the majority of drivers will avoid them. Only the climate extremists are pushing for these not ready for prime time machines now. EV's may be useful in the distant future, but not now. Hydrogen would be a better solution anyway as it could easily be adapted to the existing infrastructure.
Many true climate extremists have turned away from EV as more info has become available on the true environmental impact.

How much is the out the door monthly though? It says it does not include "fees".
Will depend on the dealer. You still have to pay state and local taxes, dealer fees (vary by dealer), and DMV fees. This will be on literally any lease

My best friend with an Outback and brother in law with an Ascent both had their tranny's go out in the warranty period. I can't attest to long term reliability of Subaru anymore. Buyer beware.
Sitting on a 2022 Outback as we speak. Can't wait to unload this idiotic car on some tree-hugging, unshaven upper-middle-class Karen. I want to do a drain and fill of the CVT every 30K. Subaru sells ONLY a 5 gallon pail of CVT fluid. At 400 dollars. Piss off Subaru.
