Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.

You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.

I do not know your circumstances like the monthly electricity bill, cost per kwh your utility charges, your roof orientation, tree cover, ability to charge EV in the garage, etc but just based on the cost of PV solar system the cost that you would pay is good. You are definitely not over paying if you go with that system.

However, $3.5 is too high so that could be the first cost that every company will quote higher and it's subject to negotiation.

BTW, I am not making any profit of you installing a PV or buying an EV. I just gave my first hand perspective and the savings that I made in just 1 year.

Some have taken to a lease like this as a safe haven against high purchase prices, so that they can sit out the craziness for a few years. Additionally, used car prices have started to ease and are on a downward trend. Smart buyers are waiting, and frankly some have no choice but to wait because they can't afford near what they could 5 years ago.

I just called about 10 dealership ends in Los Angeles county area and no one seems to have any of these, and none of them said that they had any at least price when they did

Test drove the 2024 Solterra last night. Subaru has advertised a $0 down $329/month deal on those. Local dealer still wanted $1k down and with all their unintelligible fees (money factor, acquisition costs, doc fee, taxes, licensing, etc.) the monthly payment ballooned up to $582. I'm in Washington state fwiw... That's gonna be a no from me dog.

ionic 5 looks so much cooler to me , the only EV that ive ever been tempted to buy.. ! but yet to buy a New vehicle and i think im gonna try a Hybrid first and wait bit longer for EV's to become more mainstream with charging stations everywhere and improved range..!
anyone bought a ionic5 here who could elaborate a bit their experience with it ?
