Mine at 100% charge gets 175 miles of range (don't turn on the climate because that knocks it down to 160 miles), dealer says they are working on a fix. But won't look at the car.

You may want to look at the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Rated for 360 mile range on a 100% charge, and Hyundai's been doing $7,500 cashback to offset the ineligibility for federal credits. And if you're really lucky, your state won't charge sales tax—NJ didn't for mine.

Got in touch with the 3 OC Subaru dealers that were linked with the 241/month lease deal from the website. Fullerton, Orange and Puente Hills, none of them have the 23 in stock, wanted to show me the 24, but passing as I don't need a new car but would had jumped on the deal for a no money down, 241/month lease.

Yes, I know the law just passed and is not in effect yet, but talk about mixed messages.
Valid points and worth considering, but a) I think the state is trying to drive EV purchases by providing disincentives later and b) The road tax, if indeed that revenue goes to maintianing roads, sounds legitimate. If an EV will produce as much wear and tear on roadways, owners should have to contribute. Think of it as a disincentive geared towards getting people to use bikes or public transportation. Besides, we've got all kinds of incentives from electricity providers. Mine pays for labor on installation of a home charger, costs associated with adding extra capacity on their end, and offering a 10¢/kWh discount of off-peak electricity. The last one will cut the cost of charging my car by 40%. These are not incentives that Pennsylvania electricity companies are offering at all.

I'm only 3 months in, but I love it. So nice seeing gas stations and thinking how the only reason for me to stop would be to pick up an overpriced snack. My only real complaint so far is that the scarcity of physical buttons is a terrible design decision. It doesn't help that the touchscreen is just out of reach, meaning I have to lean forward every time I want to change an app or select music.

I got a deal from Nissan on a leaf for $99 a month for 24 months lease. There a lot of EV stock not moving so they are trying to get them more on the roads. As a local commuter vehicle it's perfect
