That photo is highly enhanced. Tritium tubes do glow relatively brightly but not as vividly as shown in that photo.

For those on the fence, tritium is one of the top 5 most expensive things on Earth. Most sources have it at $30,000 per gram or $850,000 per ounce. The only normally attainable substance that is more expensive are perfect diamonds (not the ones that we commoners would wear). The other costlier substances are exotic and even illegal to own, e.g. Californium (which you can actually harvest from many smoke detectors). And #1 can destroy the Earth: antimatter, which costs $62.5 TRILLION per gram. A magnetic container to hold the stuff will probably set you back several million. But as far as I know, there are no laws against owning antimatter

In other words, get this watch! In an seriousness, it has more tritium than any watch I've seen. Most tritium watches have glowing markers but this actually creates numbers from the vials. Nice.
