I found the same to be true, I don't dust it and it looks super clean after two years.

I will say that if you're looking to use this for your first-ever pc build…DON'T. It's incredibly complex and will add hours onto your build time. Unlike any other case, this one comes disassembled, like it was designed by IKEA. The manual mine came with was clearly designed to be printed at 8.5x11, but was a quarter of that size. Due to this, the page with descriptions of the 12 screw size's uses was… unreadable.

It's a neat case, each component is SOLID, especially the 4 cylinders that hold the glass, but it's a separate project from assembling a pc. If spending an afternoon just getting the case put together sounds like fun, then this is the case for you at a pretty good price.

FYI it's got a VESA mount and was recently showcased on Pauls Hardware - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64DYTT1-wb8

Dust and noise as long as there is some air flow. It's probably better than a badly ventilated case, but worse than a properly ventilated case... Download something like hwinfo64 and make sure your temps are in an acceptable range when you're playing a game or doing something intensive.

Noob question: is there any harm in keeping computer running in an open environment? Basically I got a case like this but without the tempered glass part. Probably will vacuum it once a while...other than that, any disadvantage?

If you have pets then possible exposure to components and pet hair/dander would be hard to maintain it

Assuming there's nothing in the environment that would damage the hardware no. I wouldn't recommend it if you have cats, kids, or clumsy beverage goblins.

I've had for 3 years and weirdly enough find that theres less dust settling on my components than prior cases that were enclosed.

I just recently setup the Pro version of this case. It's been great so far. I have it mounted eye level on the wall, so no worries on the spills and pets fronts. Also, no kids. I used a recessed TV mount, so all the wires are mostly hidden too.

I forgot to mention that you absolutely should have a CPU cooler that doesn't fire toward the board, as there will be no lateral air movement. I had a Wraith Spire for a while and OH BOY was there an oven-temp pocket of air below the cpu/behind the GPU. Changed to a peerless assassin and the hot pocket was drastically reduced.

it's entirely possible.

since it's open, airflow is directly infront and behind the fans. so just the cpu, and gpu might get direct cooling.

that's generally enough, but nvme gets hot these days and may need some indirect airflow.

I've had a friend who had no case, the motherboard and stuff just sitting on the desk. It works fine but you just have to be careful when it's exposed like that. Especially if water gets on those electronic parts.

Admittedly in some circumstances open might not be ideal. You can end up with pockets of still or 'stratified' air. A semi closed system that almost acts like a wind tunnel (assuming fans are not fighting each other) can work better...if don't correctly.
