If you're cooking for a small number of people, it's not always economical to buy all of the ingredients and try to consume them before they expire, especially for ingredients that are only needed in small quantities. It's like the people who say "just make your own subs at home", when the person just wants one sub, occasionally. The ingredients would cost several times what one sub costs.

These services also serve a purpose for people tight on time or who want to try new recipes once, before having to buy some of the ingredients in large enough quantities to make the recipe multiple times. So, the kits can cut down on waste.

And busy people saving time on shopping and prep work (for the kits which include pre-prepped ingredients) means they have more time to spend doing other things.

Disabled people who have trouble getting out or prepping food might also find them useful.

I've never used any of these kits, but they do have a market.

Would love to see TMobile focus on better service than "deals". Dropped calls, high latency on data, and choppy reception in a major City speaks volumes on what TMobile considers acceptable for the Masses.

FYI, the Blue dolphin $2 is something almost always available, not exclusive to T-Mobile by any means, wish they would come back with the free subs

Have to agree, but if you have the money, I see it as a luxury granted i have been cooking with mom since age 6, professional at 16, now 46 and running another kitchen. I've trained "cooks" for decades, it's not for everybody. Thank God people eat out, ot pays my mortgage. đŸ˜€

Still don't understand why people can't just walk into a supermarket, grab the ingredients and look up recipes online, do people not know how to do a google search for recipes? Or are they allergic to the supermarket?

Tmobile sucks. They couldn't get my billing right and kept shutting off my phone every month. I'm at att and am so much happier.
I have had the opposite effect I finally left AT&T services forever. I cant be happier. For what I pay for Tmobile and its service I am super happy with it.

Because some people would rather be doing something else other than spending time going to the supermarket, shopping for ingredients, looking up recipes, cooking, cleaning up, etc.

Time is a pretty big thing to many people. We only have so much of it…
