Not first hand with the EGO, but I've read really good things about it.

I have this DeWalt set for the same reason you are looking, already in the ecosystem. I'm happy enough with it but they aren't very good. Not bad, just not good.

Trimmer is decent. Just no frills. Doesn't fold in half (it can, but it's not really a feature for easy storage), it can't take any of the DeWalt attachments (like the edger head etc) and I replaced the spool head with their quick load one (another $35ish). But it works.
The blower I have more issues with. It works, but it's not strong. I'm used to really powerful blowers and this isn't it. It's good enough for most of my uses but just takes a bit longer and more battery drain.

Again, none of it is "bad" per say, but I keep my yard tools separate than my power tools, so bring in the same ecosystem really isn't as much benefit as I anticipated. If rather have gotten a better product for the same money if possible. But that's just my 2 cents.

Seems solid. I have little experience with the trimmer, but it worked well the few times I've had a chance to use. The blower is great. Use it almost daily.

This is a slick deal. They're normally 250 without the battery and charger. I have the old version of these and they work pretty well. Not as good as gas powered models but they are adequete for small jobs around the house. You're probably going to want to take the guard off the edger which is difficult but worth it.

Damn and I just bought the dcst922b ($129) and the blower ($100) separate then an additional 5mah battery for $99.

Anybody know the difference between the DCST922b and DCST925?

I could be wrong, but I think I got this deal without a charger and battery for the same price a year or so ago. So this seems solid.

I got this same deal last year off SD for 137$ from Ace Hardware. It's a decent deal, but definitely not slick.

Any comparisons to the Ego combo that is FP today for $180? https://slickdeals.net/f/17404542-ego-power-56v-15-cordless-string-trimmer-615-cfm-leaf-blower-2-5ah-battery-179-free-s-h?src=frontpage

I pulled the trigger on that one but I have Dewalt 20v drills...

Yes, order it and send me the battery and charger, since with or without them it is going to be the same deal

Thanks for the feedback on the Dewalt tools. I don't need to use either for long periods of time so I think I'll stick with the Ego.

I was on the same boat, i ordered the Ego for the cfm but saw this and im already on the dewalt eco system. But that review, I guess i'll just add another different charger to my collection, as it is stronger per specs.

Definitely a solid deal.... Trimmer is the older generation but works fine.
I like the new blower and the funnel.... (not to mention the 4AH battery)

Good deal. I bought the blower with a battery for about 200 a year ago. The blower is really good for shop sawdust cleaning, along with some light duty outside yard work. This does not blow wet leaves keep this in mind if you're using this primary.

I got this exact same deal for $150 during a grand opening of a Runnings store. I also got a free 20v 5ah battery, free bucket tool caddie, and a free shirt. I felt like I robbed the place!
