it's that the ethernet connection from the monitor will pass through usb-c to the laptop, so it gives the laptop a hard wired internet connection when plugged into the monitor
Ips, Ethernet, 90w usb c; this hits all points for productivity! Gaming will suffer due to 60Hz (you really want >= 120hz) but otherwise solid monitor for a new price
It also has built-in speakers. Plus 3yrs warranty. Excellent deal.

Is the limiting factor the 60Hz? Most of the $199 deals are VA panel. So whats the catch here? Why light gaming? refresh rate too slow?

I say light gaming because true gaming enthusiasts who go nuts over true 4k wont touch a monitor under 120Hz, If you are cool with 1440 you can absolutely game with this, hence why I chose the phrase light gaming. If you're an average joe gamer playing madden, RTS, or RPG's and don't get off to refresh rates, this will do deff do the trick for you.

I wish I waited to buy!!! Frown I paid over $400 each for these a few month back. They are fantastic for my home office setup and the kids love gaming on the dual monitor setup. Snap one up before they sell out. These are probably going to go fast!

I don't see it giving us a free 3 year warranty
Or did you just mean there was an option for it?

Ordered one. The built in hub is nice to use only a usb c to my laptop. This version comes with the tilt and height adjustable stand that other sales haven't had as well.

Got an extra 4% cashback from referral and 10% offer (only up to $17) on my chase freedom as well.

Looks almost on par with Dell U3423WE (https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/d...cessories) for being ~$400 cheaper. Perfect for office work and non-competitive gaming.

That dell is ridiculously priced. Not even 2160P, which I'm kind of holding out for.

they would want 144hz+ and gsync/freesync

although this is a really solid monitor..60hz isn't bad at all
