They actually had this live in some stores last week, and the values were pretty good especially if you had the PS5 version of a game.

Note: You can use trade in credit towards gaming gift cards like PlayStation, Xbox, and etc. but only in person.

Is the extra 50% already included in the values listed on the Trade In page [gamestop.com]? Or is it on top of those?

It is on top…so Non-Pro member $5 on trade in page will get you $7.50 and if you are a Pro you would get $5 + $2.50 + $.50 for a total of $8.

Sorry to hear. I was first told that I couldn't use it at 2 different GS stores. I then decided to do it when I got a different employee and it worked multiple times at different locations. I learned that TIC is treated as a debit tender unlike gift cards.

You'll get the base of $30 + 50% so $45, if you have a pro membership the extra $3 will apply and you would get $48

I don't understand how people still shop at these stores... they are terrible and overpriced! I'm certain that I can keep my games and still find a just as cheap option to buy, from almost anyone else. So, I would spend the same amount of money and still keep my old games. If they then sell your old games, you'll be ahead of Game Stop's best options... Hate these stores!

I did this a few years ago and got the switch at a tremendous discount. Went to a few pawn shops and easily tripled my money.

Just can't think of much we need/want right now. Afraid to hold the credit too long with the uncertainty of GameStop.
