This is crazy cheap so value is pretty good assuming this thing doesn't die right away, but even so I'd recommend taking a look at your local craigslist, facebook marketplace, electronics recyclers, etc. At least where I live there's loads of 20-24" 1080p monitors from reputable manufacturers available for around the same price or less.
Got burned with an Element monitor that stopped working like 1 month after warranty ended. I'm a little reluctant to buy another low tier/unknown brand monitor...

Really desperate take the risk on a 50 bucks monitor is better than taking a risk on a $150.00
Koorui was created by a company called HKC. They are a hong Kong company and have been making displays since the 70s. My understanding is they started koorui for the US market. They are currently the only company that makes a 24 inch 1440 display that is higher than 75hz. I did a lot of research because I am one of the few that would prefer a 24 inch display to game on that is 1440. I've had it for a month and no issues. The display I got previously was from MSI which came with dead pixels. So far my experience is good with koorui.

This is how I felt towards Westinghouse. Never again.
I don't get all the hate on this deal. It's a no frills LCD monitor at a dirt cheap price. Actually for 50 bucks you're getting some frills.
24"
IPS panel
Good color range
Decent viewing angle
VESA mount
75hz rate which is a little higher than the usual 60hz in this price range
Most of the 1080p monitors in this price range are usually missing one or more of these features. For some reason this price or monitor offends some of you. If you want a 4k 200+hz OLED low latency gaming monitor then go buy just that but good luck finding one at $50.
@$50, I'm in for 3. Setting up a pyhton coding station. This is a perfect no-frills deal for me. Give me a year and the rest is house money. Thanks OP!
Great deal. I won't preach/judge too much since I totally see the value of a NIB monitor shipped to your door and this is a great price. But if you are feeling "green" or whatever and want to be super cheap, there are generally tons of excellent not-that-old, free or next-to-free 24" FHD (or even better, WUXGA) business-class IPS monitors in the used marketplace. Perhaps it's just my area but there's always a never-ending supply on FBM.

Nothing wrong with FHD at 24", either. Folks who rely on color accuracy are who should avoid this.
