I got a YADA dash cam, a different model. It is for sure not a top notch dash cam, but it can get the job done. It records and saves video with no problem. The kit even has a SD card in it. For 6 dollars or the original 10 dollars, I feel like these negative reviewers are expecting way too much.

Yoda, can you explain how this Yada would risk security? You are not connecting this to your home network. This is a standalone & doesn't call home china

Maybe you should work on getting your message across in a way everyone understands the first time instead of getting angry about it.

If you had written this in the first message, at least people could have figured out that by "security" you meant "reliability".

Of course nobody expects this to look like a Fast and the Furious movie whenever they go out driving.

At $6 this is for the person who keeps saying they'll get a dash cam, but never does because all the good ones are $100+. It might even qualify for an insurance discount if your provider is willing to honor it.

This is better than no dash cam, will through a couple in my junker rides or maybe for rear view. be warned these are useless at night as the little light reflects off glass

Maybe this what those spy balloons have been using to gather information! Cheap dash cams to record all the Americans and their daily driving habits. Excuse me while I search Google on my smartphone and purchase something on Aliexpress and Temu. But I'll be damned if I purchase a $6 dash cam and give China any of my information.
