This is a pretty good kit to keep underneath the backseat of your truck or trunk of your car. For 60 bucks it's a pretty good insurance policy for side of the road emergency.

I just picked this up.

It's a much better 3/8 sockets set, which is what I use 95% of the time, and I don't need yet another set of crappy screwdriver bits and Allen wrenches.

If this is true "mechanics" set they should have 5 point sockets, as the 6 point sockets will round out your bolts like nobody's business 🙀

Thanks for posting. I ordered both to try on my Toyota Camry for basic stuff like oil changes. Will most likely return the Amazon one.

This just seems like you are trying to get people to upvote your post. How could this no name brand set that is barely half the price be better than a dewalt set. Doesn't pass the sniff test to me bub.

I've got that set under a different brand (Tekton). Dewalts hand tools are nothing to write home about (and i say this with my shop full of yellow and black). I'd place them at a similar level of fit and finish, albeit dewalt is probably better from the warranty standpoint and the brand name maybe gets respect in certain circles. That said, it does seem like that guy is pushing his deal, but i think it passes the sniff test.
