who still use the side by side fridge? you loose a lot of space with the middle divider
Thinking for side by side since french door refrigerators are weak by design.

Has to be better than an LG. Dead after only 11 months and waiting over a week now for service and a stupid evaporator fan. All food rotten.

This company has Chinese name and English name that pronounce differently. Similarly, Lenovo also has a Chinese name that pronounces completely differently.
Gotcha, thanks.

I was wondering why side by side is cheaper than French door in general. That's probably why.

What I didn't say in my original comment was, in case other's rate is also high, do consider the cost to run the fridge when choosing to buy. For me, if another model uses 100kwh less per year, that's more than $40 per year of savings on electricity bill.
Well in THAT example alone, I would still go with a fridge that is reliable service-wise and pay the extra. For me, it would be about $15-18 extra. I take my total bill and divide it by kWh for a PURE cost per kW. I have a $14 customer charge and a 2% school tax within my total bill amongst the other typical charges for electricity. Far less today than what I paid in CA over 18 years ago.

A bit off topic, apologies if it bothers some.

Better link may be: https://www.lowes.com/search?sear...frigerator
I'm in the market, but concerned about the negative reviews. 2 Year warranty only?

FWIW - there are a bunch of these 'discount' refrigerators direct from China that don't perform nearly as well as your pre-pandemic, name brand refrigerators. Choose wisely!

Love the price and decent reviews (about the same as other brand names). My counter depth is 24", so the fridge will be 10" protruding out of the counter. Is that too far out?

Yes. But,

These smaller Chinese companies use older simpler tech (less issues?). They also don't have the experience the big companies have to make something that will purposely break after 5 years but usually not before.

I'm looking at you Samsung.

I bought it. Let's face it, there is no prestige in owning a big name brand fridge. Sure the more expensive brands may be pretty but they are littered with problems and bad reviews. I bought this because the sale was great, the reviews were above average, it is a side by side (my wife has back problems so french was not ideal), the dispenser is outside the fridge, and the front was flat/flush which IMO looks really nice. Delivery tomorrow.

Made in USA or bust. Anyone who trusts a major appliance made in a Chinese sweatshop is a fool.
