Great deal on a 35W Charger. Most phones don't support anything 35W anyway, so going higher is overkill.

27W max from a port. Good enough for most phones, but not enough for most laptops.

The fourth picture in the product listing shows 35 watts if using one port, and 8W + 27W with both in use. Up to 20 volts can be provided regardless. Any laptop will accept 20 volts (many will charge with less).

Where it might not be "good enough" is if the laptop is using more watts than the charger is providing. No laptop should be drawing more than 35 watts while sleeping. A basic Chromebook with an ARM processor probably never draws more than 35 watts.

That is only in two-port operation. In single port operation this charger will support 35W.

One port operation (up to 35W):
  • 5V at up to 3A
  • 9V at up to 3A
  • 15V at up to 2.33A
  • 20V at up to 1.75A
Two port operation (27W + 8W):
  • USB C1:
    • 5V at up to 1.6A
  • USB C2:
    • 5V at up to 3A
    • 9V at up to 3A
    • 15V at up to 1.8A
    • 20V at up to 1.35A
Good luck!
Jon

Not comparable in quality to the larger Insignia. I would not want it if it was free. YMMV.

Have you measured the actual power draw of your desired device? For example, while my first generation Samsung Galaxy chromebook shipped with a 65W adapter and technically supports 65W charging, the actual power draw of the adaper when charging the battery is typically around 22W even while powered on.

Good luck!

Got this deal. Nice little charger. Oddly runs a little warm though.
