Definitely not the highest quality light in the world, however, I don't think you can do any better for $10!
This flashlight has actually gotten quite a bit of praise on the budget light forums flashlight group.

Well I don't think it means you are a on a special operations team carrying $8,000 worth of gear including a ten dollar flashlight.

I first bought this light several years ago thought I was buying a nitecore, which i consider same quality as fenix, slightly better than streamlight, but not as good as surefire. By the name of it was nicorn, this seemed to be some kind of knock offs. But these days all of them are made in the same factory or factories in the same town somewhere in China, doesn't hurt to try one. I actually liked it, especially after my fenix stopped working and resumed mysteriously. Util my son lost it in boy scouts camp one day. I was happy with a $10 light, but not so much with it at ~$20 price point. Now I am getting another one.

Can't think of why a magnet in your pocket would cause problems. Anyone have answers or thoughts on that?
There was a time when credit cards had magnetic strips. Do they still? Anything with a magnetic strip would get messed up by a magnet. Magnetic Stripe Card: Definition, How It Works, vs. Chip Card [investopedia.com] seem to indicate they are still used.

A magnet could cause anything magnetic in your pocket to be inconvenient at least. Keys would certainly get attached to the flashlight's magnet.

The product description says the magnet is powerful. That means that anything magnetic that gets close to the flashlight would be attracted to it. I can't think of an example of something that that would be a problem for but it certainly concerns me. Perhaps the magnet could knock over a mug made of metal.

Probably a term that manufacturers feel obligated to use. Computer hardware such as mice are nearly always called gaming.

Have you searched the internet for answers? When I do I find an article in a website that specializes in flashlight reviews that says that most flashlights sold as tactical flashlights on Amazon are not tactical at all. One feature in particular that it describes is the power button; it says the power button should not also be a mode button. And believe me, nearly all flashlights on Amazon have a power button that is also the mode button.
