Currently back in stock. Showing $13 shipping for me. It's not on sale, but they are out of stock almost all the time.

https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/ucg-ultra
Or (different link that seems to show the same page in the UI store):
https://store.ui.com/us/en/collec.../ucg-ultra

I got one the last time it was available (very briefly!) and it arrived last night. I'm very impressed with the unit. It's a huge upgrade from my USG-3P.

For those not familiar this is a newly released, small form factor firewall. It's like the USG-3P but much faster (gig-rate with all features enabled like IDS/IDP). It does not have a WiFi access point like the Dream Machine. It DOES have a built in controller (like the Cloud Key), so that's very handy.

Thank you. Got one! Sad that they no longer offer free shipping but still cheaper than eBay.

It's an inexpensive way into the Unifi ecosystem. It's a feature-rich router/gateway that can sustain 1gbps while running IDS and IPS. No wifi built in, but you get quite a lot for $130.

Is this like a combo gateway & cloud key? I have the gateway but was using an RPi for the controller... But the SD card ate it recently and I'm wondering if it would be easier to get this instead of setting up the RPi again.

How would this compare to a roll your own opnsense minipc or a tp-link omada equivalent?

I have ancient networking gear and am debating which way to go without spending a lot.
