Are we sure this is SD only. I know sometimes TV bundles from apple are stuck as SD only even if certain later seasons are HD. But on my phone in the AppleTV app both seasons episodes have the HD badge. And this isn't a bundle anyways so that weirdness shouldn't apply. Unfortunately it's not as clear in the new app vs iTunes which no longer has TV/Movies on my phone.

If this deal is SD only I know for a fact Vudu has the HD version and it's been this same price a few times on there. It looks nice in HD and I can vouch for the first season being excellent. Still need to watch the 2nd.

1994 multi-part finale was amazing which was right after secret wars in the series. They left enough loose ends to the imagination while setting up the framework for the later series Unlimited which was short lived.

The 90's one was really good and what I grew up on, this one was just as awesome too. Just sad they never got a last season to wrap this version up. Highly recommend for anyone who hasn't seen this

One has to laugh at how Firestar pronounced Magneto's name in the one X-Men episode. It sounds like she was naming a Kia vehicle, "I once owned a Kia Sorento and I traded it in for a Kia Magneto."

This series is absolutely phenomenal and perfectly captures the spirit of classic spiderman. The character designs might look simple, but the way in which it moves and flows, not to mention action sequences are amazing. Written by the same creators and Gargoyles and Young Justice, so needless to say, the writing is superior quality. That Disney canceled this for 'Ultimate spiderman' is a crime and a travesty, as each and every episode is gold.
