I don't think you can return it. All of the Applecare information is on the physical receipt. at least when I bought in store. If you lose the receipt, you lose AppleCare.

No, Applecare is tied to the serial of the device so no receipt necessary.

While this gen of the AirPods Pro is definitely way tougher than the original units, I'd still probably opt to take AppleCare+ again on another set since they are so easy to drop and potentially damage. Not had to use it on my current units, but this is a good deal with the AC.

Not correct/

I bought them yesterday in the store and when I first used them and looked at the details when paired to my device, is shows the serial number and the correct experation date for the Apple Care coverage tied to the device​

Both of my last AirPod pro's started acting up at 1 year, so this is definitely valuable if you use them as much as I do! 6+ hours a day at work with one in at a time.
